This was one of my favorite songs in college and the first song that I learned how to play on the piano. There was an old upright piano in a common room below one of the dining halls in my dorm. After hearing it in the movie "Cruel Intentions", I listened to it and realized that it was a fairly simple song. I figured out the key and the chord changes on my guitar before going down to the piano. I didn't have anything like an iPod or a portable recorder to play it back so I had to remember it in my head. I picked out the melody on the keys, note by note, before backing it up with the chords underneath. This became the first song that I learned to play on the piano. (There aren't many, but this is my go-to when a piano is around).
I still have yet to play the piano at a live gig. Maybe the next one is when I will break it out, so make sure you come to a show!
Hope you all dig it! Make sure to share it on your social media!
